When I pick Jackson up from school I can almost immediately conclude some aspects about his day. Usually I can tell if they painted, how much he slept (or didn't), and how successful he was going on the potty. Then within minutes of him very excitedly greeting me I usually know about a specific incident during the day or just about a poster on the wall or toy in the room.
When we are in the car on the way home I love to ask him more questions about his day. His retelling of his day usually involves naming a classmate and occasionally stating that kid was mean.
Well this time when I picked him up and started asking about his day I heard the most interesting story yet.
"What did you do at school today Jackson?"
"We went outside and played, then I married Sophia."
Quickly turning down the music, "What did you do after you went outside?"
"Played"...
"No after"...
"Married Sophia"
Luckily at a stop light, I whip around to see him. "You married Sophia?"
HUGE grin on his face and eyes big, "Yeah, I married her."
Smiling now, "How was the wedding?"
"Good!"
